You can also opt for instant verification through a Google Search Console account. You can verify your identity with Google through email, phone, bulk verification (for businesses having over 10 locations). Step 11: From the drop-down menu, select a method to verify your business.

For this, select from the options ‘Yes or No’ and press the tab ‘Next’. Step 6: Next, choose whether you want your business' location to appear on Google Maps. You can also add additional categories later. Step 5: Now, enter your business name and business category (such as restaurant, grocery shop, salon) in the input fields given on the next page and click on the button ‘Next’. For this, you need to proceed with the steps to claim your business, after selecting this option. Step 4: In the drop-down menu under the search bar, select the option ‘Create a business with this name.' Notably, if you already see your business name and address, it means that your business is already listed.
